Ladies 2s were looking to restart the league season with a win today and they didn't disappoint!
Bridgwater started the game pushing forward from midfield, putting White Eagles on the back foot immediately. Bridgwater found themselves 2 0 up in the first 2 minutes with both goals coming from Lorraine Hollidge. Bridgwater continued to put the pressure on and found another goal through Holly Hobbs.
Bridgwater began to relax and with White eagles putting some long balls through they pulled 2 goals back in quick succession. This didn't deter the Bridgwater ladies who went on to score another before half time with Lorraine bagging herself a hatrick!
The target after half time was to score more goals and not concede, Bridgwater did just that. With the whole team playing some great passing hockey, Jess Shobbrook was next to get her name on the scoresheet.
It was Holly Hobbs that stole the second half, hassling for every ball and determined to get on the end of rebounds got herself another 3 goals.
A fantastic team performance from the ladies today with a final score of 8-2.
Man of the Match went to Holly Hobbs

Bridgwater are ready for there short trip to Winscombe next week to take on their closest rivals in the league.
