After 2 disappointing games Bridgwater were eager to return to winning ways . The game started well and Bridgwater attacked from the start and almost gained a short corner from the first passage of play . It wasn’t long before the first goal was scored , Sam Stacey returning from injury with a well taken goal after a short corner for 1-0 . Tiverton had a couple of half chances but Bridgwater were the dominant team and soon made their possession pay . Good build up from Max Syvret and Steve Pigden saw the ball go out wide to Paul Bond . The ball was crossed in for Rich Payne to deflect the ball home for 2-0 . Tiverton dug in for the remainder of the half to keep the score the same .
Bridgwater started strongly again in the second half and were rewarded early when a shot from Rich Payne rebounded off the keeper onto the defender and into the goal for 3-0 . With nothing to do so far Ben Rigg in goal decided to get a mention by conceding and losing his clean sheet , losing his opportunity for a third man of the match in a row . A good break from Brandon Durkin again saw the ball played out to Paul Bond , a quick pass inside and Rich Payne did the rest with a rising shot which easily beat the keeper and claim his hat trick for 4-1 .

Man of the match went to Max Syvret
