Bridgwater travelled to Yeovil with a different team and expecting a hard game which is exactly what they got. It was Bridgwater that got off the the stronger start scoring early from their first two short corners, the first deftly finished off by Phil Morrish and the second by Keiran Spotiswoode. Despite this start it would be Yeovil that took control of the half and put the Bridgwater defence under a lot of pressure. The defence of Ian Stradling, Ben Stone and Marcus Blyth and keeper Brad Palmer, with help from everyone else defended with passion and Bridgwater spirit. Saying that Yeovil pulled a goal back shortly before half time.
The second half started perfectly for Bridgy as Aaron Turner went on a mazy dribble from the push back going past four Yeovil players and finding Trystan Hudson in the D to score. The rest of the half was again Bridgwater under pressure but again defended like it was for their lives. Late on Bridgy went on a break and Morrish found Dom Williams who found Hudson for his second goal and kill the game off. Yeovil got one back immediately after Skipper Jenkins went on his own run and thought he had won a short corner but it was missed and Yeovil scored on the breakaway. Others who also put 100 effort in which was the pre match talk was Oscar West and Gareth Reardon. A great result and after playing all the teams once Bridgwater are unbeaten and top of the league.
Man of the Match - was spread out with eight people getting votes with Ian Stradling pinching it.
