Top of the table Bridgwater played second placed Mid Somerset. The game started brightly for Bridgwater who dominated the first twenty minutes and in that time scoring two goals both from Tom Lott. The first from a penalty flick and the second a short corner. Bridgwater took their foot off the gas and allowed Mids to come back in the game who scored from their first attack. They got their second on the strike of half time undoing all the good work Bridgwater had done.
The second half was a close game that became very physical and it would be Mids that would go ahead. Fortunately for Bridgwater Lott would get his hat trick from another short corner to level the match and that’s how it stayed.
The draw means Bridgwater stay a point clear of both Mids and Civil Service.
